Vaccinations, Boarding Requirements & Forms

The health and safety of the pets in our care is our number one priority.
Knowing the dietary needs, exercise restrictions or required medications
for our guests helps us provide the best experience.

Vaccinations
Vaccinations must be administered at least 48 hours prior to arrival
under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian.
However, we prefer vaccinations be administered10-14 days
before check-in to ensure maximum efficiency. 

Vaccine required
 

Bordetella ( Kennel Cough)
This Is Required  at least 48 hours prior to check-in to ensure maximum
efficiency and protection against Kennel Cough.
Please note that many veterinarians administer this vaccine only by request.

Rabies
Must be Current!
 

Canine Influenza (Kennel Cough)
To help protect against the Canine Influenza respiratory illness. Consult your veterinarian.
 

Leptospirosis
Not required, but highly recommended to help protect against the Leptospirosis infection.
Consult your veterinarian.
 

Fleas, Ticks, De-Wormer & Heart Worm 
In addition to vaccinations, all pets MUST be on flea, tick and heart worm preventive,
also to be current on their de-wormer. Consult your veterinarian.

***NOTE***
We live in the country where there could be mosquitoes, Fleas and ticks.
We do our best to have our yard and kennels treated by a professional
to help fight the bug battle but its not always 100% and so to help protect yours
and our babies even more we require all our pet guests to be on a preventive.  
 

Additional Requirements
At the discretion of The Rustic Pet Lodge,
some pets may not be permitted.
We require that the Pet Parent or Agent dropping off the pet(s) for services is an adult,
over the age of 18. To keep your pet’s tummy happy,
we recommend you bring their own food and treats in a sealed & labeled container, 
which we will feed free of charge. If you’d like us to feed them our preferred brand of in-house food and treats additional fees apply. and your babies tummy may get upset due to the food change.

To better serve our guests, we request pet parents complete certain forms before their pet’s visit.
Please Download, print, and fill out the required forms and send them to our Email
